Quartz Hill High School is excited to announce Phase One of our Athletics and Activities participation plan. Although the beginning date is July 13, actual starting dates will be determined by the coach or advisor. Please contact your coach or advisor for actual start dates. I have included the full Phase One protocols that our coaches and advisors will be held to. We appreciate your patience and understanding through this process, especially your understanding that these plans are subject to change as guidance and restrictions are constantly changing.

Phase One of Athletics & Activities to Begin July 13

Summer athletics and activities will enter Phase One of a Three-Phase Return to Training plan beginning July 13 with voluntary returns to campus for a soft-opening focused on summer conditioning. The following protocols are in place for Phase One:

  • All students, coaches and advisors will complete a health screening.

  • No gathering of more than 10 people at a time on any one field.

  • Workouts/ meetings conducted in “pods” of students with the same 5-10 students always working out/ meeting together

  • All activities to take place outdoors.  Locker rooms will not be utilized.

  • There must be a minimum distance of six feet between each individual at all times

  • Students must bring their own water bottle(s)

Student athletes will need to complete their athletic clearances, including athletic physicals, before they will be allowed to participate in the Phase One summer conditioning programs.  Students will receive information specific to their sport/activity from the school Athletic/Activity Department.

yearbook2020

This year's theme was "Matter," which coincidentally preludes how much we all matter to one another.

FINALLY! Our Yearbooks are in! We appreciate your patience as our distributor experienced delays for obvious reasons. Please read the following "Yearbook Pickup procedures" as all info is included.

The 2020 yearbook staff would like to thank all of our students and staff for their hard work and dedication that was put into this STUDENT-DRIVEN PRODUCTION. This year's theme was "Matter," which coincidentally preludes how much we all matter to one another.

Yearbook pick up procedures: Wednesday June 17th from 9am - 2pm at the library.

Please exercise social distancing and arrive with a mask. Parent or student may pick up the yearbook. If you cannot pick up your yearbook at this time, you may arrive during operating business hours/days which will vary based on state and county guidelines.

Yearbooks are for families who have already paid for the yearbooks (as they are pre-ordered). There are no extra yearbooks for purchase at this time.

We apologize that you have to come in to the school again to get your yearbook. The delay was outside of our control. Although, we always enjoy seeing your faces!
