Blood Drives
In partnership with the American Red Cross, QHHS ASB Leadership will be sponsoring Blood Drives:
- Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the Small Gym
- Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the Small Gym
To obtain an appointment, complete a QHHS Blood Donation form and return to room 102 during snack or lunch. All QHHS students must have the Informed Parental Consent portion complete. Eligible donors, age 16, must also submit the American Red Cross Parental Consent for Blood Donation form (English | Spanish).

Donor Eligibility:
For donors under the age of 19, the following height/weight requirements are in effect:

POWER RED CELL Donation Eligibility:
Guys must be at least 5' 1" and 130 lbs. 17 years minimum
Girls must be at least 5' 5" and 150 lbs. 19 years minimum
Must be an eligible type O, A negative or B negative donor
POWER offers a double red cell donation. It takes about 30 minutes longer than standard whole blood donation. The machine removes your red blood cells, but returns your platelets and plasma, so you don't lose the liquid portion of your blood and you may feel more hydrated after your donation.
